Chris has more than 20 years' experience with leading international law firms and major corporates across Asia Pacific, the United Kingdom and the United States.
He is a member of the senior leadership team and leads the corporate services organisation for Abt Australia — HR, finance, IT, digital, legal, risk, compliance, audit, contracts, procurement, facilities — and leads the legal team globally. He is also a member of the global leadership committee, company secretary of Abt Australia, Brisbane office steward and data protection officer globally.
Before joining Abt, he was a senior attorney with Ashurst, where he specialised in mergers and acquisitions, major projects, corporate governance, restructuring and regulatory matters across Asia Pacific. Prior to that, he was a senior corporate counsel with Aurizon and an attorney with Norton Rose Fulbright in London.
