Partnership with First Nations Australians

We have worked alongside Aboriginal and Torres Straits Islander communities for more than decade to deliver culturally responsive research, evaluations and impact projects.

Our partnerships with First Nations Australian organisations—including MurawinCurijo and Ninti One embed First Nations Australians’ perspectives and experience in our approach. This ensures Aboriginal and Torres Straits Islander voices and leadership shape every step, from co-design to reporting.

Guided by respectful partnerships and a commitment to self-determination, we’ve delivered more than 15 projects in Australia across health, wellbeing, family safety and justice.

Since 2014, Abt has been on a reconciliation journey, with our refreshed Innovate RAP 2025-2027 reaffirming our commitment to meaningful change.
