Jessica is a qualified international and community development practitioner with over 25 years of experience working in development in Southeast Asia, the Pacific and Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Asian Studies, Master of International and Community Development and a Graduate Certificate in Gender Policy and Mainstreaming. Jessica’s experience includes working with government, donors, multilaterals, the private sector, managing contractors and NGOs. 

Dr. Reerink has more than 25 years of experience in promoting gender equality and social inclusion in international development, with a strong focus on the Asia-Pacific region.

Didar Ali Didar is technical advisor for monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) in Abt’s International Technical Practice (ITP). He has more than 10 years of experience in MERL, project design, and management in the areas of agriculture, food security, economic inclusion, civil society, governance, health, and education. He also has experience in women’s rights advocacy, including designing and implementing advocacy plans and organizing national and international events.

James Gilling, regional vice president, East Asia and Pacific, has almost 40 years of experience in social and economic development in low- and middle-income countries. He has overseen Australian aid programs worth hundreds of millions of dollars and managed large teams of Australian and overseas staff, including as head of the Australian aid program in Indonesia. James has worked for United Kingdom (UK) and Papua New Guinea governments as an agricultural economist. He has also worked as a consultant economist with Oxford Policy Management in the UK and was an economic analyst with the Office of National Assessments in Australia.

Geoff Scahill has over 20 years of experience working in and managing international development programs. He has worked extensively within Papua New Guinea (PNG) and the Pacific – predominantly in Indonesia, Fiji, Samoa, and the Solomon Islands. He brings a long history as a health sector professional and has held roles as a health management advisor and health systems adviser in Pacific Island Countries. Geoff draws on his background in finance and economics to work with counterparts to increase efficiencies within the programs Abt Global delivers.

Ayesha Lutschini is the Team Leader of PNG Women Lead, a flagship gender equality initiative of the Australian Government in partnership with the Government of Papua New Guinea.

Nicoleta Raluca Hurubeanu is a senior global health leader with over 15 years’ experience designing and delivering large scale public and private health programs across Central America, Melanesia, Southeast Asia and Sub Saharan Africa.

Georgina brings over 20 years of expertise in managing public health programs, leading community engagement and consultation, and program planning and evaluation. She is a highly experienced researcher and evaluator, offering valuable insights and technical advice on program design and improvement in diverse health domains.

Iris has over 9 years’ experience managing international development projects in the Asia Pacific region. In her role as Senior Program Manager based in Brisbane, Australia, she currently is closely involved with Abt managed programs in Sri Lanka and Timor-Leste for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). 

Judith Reen is a senior education and development adviser with over 20 years’ experience in fragile, post-conflict, and complex development settings. Her expertise spans education sector reform, strategic leadership, governance, gender and social inclusion and crisis response. Judith has designed and led impactful programs in the Pacific, Southeast Asia and Australia, advising governments, donors, and civil society organisations on systemic reform, policy implementation and localisation strategies.
