Andrew Alderdice

Abt Global Country Manager, Papua New Guinea
Andrew Alderdice has more than 35 years of experience working in the health and human services sectors in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific and is currently leading Abt Global’s domestic programs and consultancy practice in Australia.Andrew has worked in a variety of roles, including as a consultant, executive manager and clinician. He has more than 25 years of experience in executive-level positions, including nearly nine years as director of a private management consulting business in Australia. He served as director of the Australian Government-funded health and HIV program in Papua New Guinea. Andrew has been the director of strategy for a regional health service, chief executive officer of a health and aged-care complex and director of a regional community health service.

Geoff Scahill has over 20 years of experience working in and managing international development programs. He has worked extensively within Papua New Guinea (PNG) and the Pacific – predominantly in Indonesia, Fiji, Samoa, and the Solomon Islands. He brings a long history as a health sector professional and has held roles as a health management advisor and health systems adviser in Pacific Island Countries. Geoff draws on his background in finance and economics to work with counterparts to increase efficiencies within the programs Abt Global delivers.

Judith Reen is a senior education and development adviser with over 20 years’ experience in fragile, post-conflict, and complex development settings. Her expertise spans education sector reform, strategic leadership, governance, gender and social inclusion and crisis response. Judith has designed and led impactful programs in the Pacific, Southeast Asia and Australia, advising governments, donors, and civil society organisations on systemic reform, policy implementation and localisation strategies.
